BACKGROUND

The Fox River Commission is comprised of commissioners appointed by Racine, Kenosha and Waukesha Counties, the Cities of Burlington and Waukesha, the Towns of Burlington, Mukwonago, Vernon, Waterford, Waukesha and Wheatland, the Villages of Big Bend, Mukwonago, Rochester, Salem Lakes and Waterford.

Staff from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) and Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC) serve as nonvoting representatives to the commission ex officio.
